Farmers Market

Holly Springs Farmers Market

Located along Ballentine Street beside the Cultural Center, the town farmers market is more than just a place to meet local farmers and buy fresh produce. W.E. Hunt Recreation Center

Located next to Womble Park's synthetic turf fields, the Hunt Center includes a fitness center, elevated track, gymnasium, game room and more. Use of the track and game room is free. More information about the Hunt Center>>

History

Historic Cemetery, Homes, and Spring

Downtown Holly Springs includes homes with histories. Follow a short public trail that begins near the Leslie-Alford-Mims house, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, to a freshwater spring once used to supply the home with water. The Holly Springs Cemetery holds the graves of some of the town's founding families. 

Mims Park

Mims Park

Enjoy a quiet run or hike on this historic property! Mims Park is a 17-acre wooded site with rolling hills, natural springs, and the historic gravesite of Town founder G.B. Alford. Get a close-up view of the property’s different natural plant communities and habitat zones on a hard-surface route from W Earp St to the natural springs. Up for a topographical challenge? Check out the 0.8-mile natural surface loop trail! With two trailheads, abundant parking is available at the nearby Cultural Center and Town Hall parking lots and along W. Ballentine Street.

Utley Creek Greenway

Utley Creek Greenway

Take a stroll on this paved greenway that connects west and east Holly Springs, using a pedestrian tunnel under N.C. 55. The greenway travels from Ballentine Street to the Morgan Park neighborhood.
