Stormwater Survey Report

The Engineering Department’s Environmental and Stormwater Management Services appreciates participation in the citizen survey.  The Town will use the information to improve service to citizens and to protect our natural resources.

Environmental Development Standards

NPDES Phase II Post-Construction Stormwater Program - These requirements apply to development and redevelopment projects. They are designed to provide compliance with the Town’s federally-mandated National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Phase II Stormwater Program.

Natural Resources Inventory Required - The Town requires a Natural Resources Inventory for new and redevelopment projects. Please bring a completed inventory form and supporting documents to concept meetings with the Engineering Department. This information will be used to help determine natural resource requirements (such as a flood study and stormwater and environmental plan requirements) of the development petition. This applies to major residential subdivision plans, master plans, special exception uses, development plans and planned unit development master plans.

Secondary and Cumulative Impacts Master Mitigation Plan - The Town of Holly Springs has developed the plan. The objective is to provide a holistic review of environmental impacts associated with planned land use changes and infrastructure projects that are required to accommodate future population growth.

The objective is to provide a holistic review of environmental impacts associated with planned land use changes and infrastructure projects that are required to accommodate future population growth.

The plan identifies the growth-related environmental impacts associated with Town plans for expanding water, sewer and transportation facilities, and the programs in place that mitigate the identified impacts.
