Transportation Workshop May 9 4/15//2011

Help improve safety and mobility for pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders by participating in a transportation workshop May 9 from 5-7 p.m.at Holly Springs Cultural Center.

This is your opportunity to help shape plans for roads, trails, sidewalks and transit service. This workshop for Holly Springs' Comprehensive Transportation Plan will include:

• An open house with maps and other materials
• A presentation on the plan and how you can help
• Small group sessions for gathering around maps and offering feedback

Topics will include road improvements, traffic safety, bicycle facilities, sidewalks, greenways, public transportation, environmenal effects, land use integration, truck routes, etc.
