Leave those income tax blues behind and join us at Bass Lake Park on April 15 at 7:30 p.m. for a free workshop on growing your own apple trees.
This hour-long presentation will be geared toward the backyard grower and those interested in planting trees to enhance wildlife habitat.
The door prize is a free pair of apple trees.
The workshop is provided by Rich Vitek of the Cape Fear River Branch of the Quality Deer Management Association and the staff of Bass Lake Park and Retreat Center.
