Citizens Heard April 6 on Upcoming Budget 3/30/2010

Holly Springs residents are invited to give their priorities for the upcoming Town budget during a pre-budget hearing at the April 6 Town Council meeting.

This is an opportunity to provide input while the 2010-2011 budget is still being drafted.

The official public hearing on the budget will be held in May or June, after Town Manager Carl Dean has presented his recommendations to the Town Council. The new budget year starts July 1.

The April 6 pre-budget hearing will be part of the agenda for the council's regular meeting, which starts at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall at 128 S. Main St.

Citizens are invited to share what new programs, services or facilities they would like the Town to provide and what existing ones should be expanded or ended. They may also choose to provide input on fees, rates, etc. Speakers should limit comments to three minutes.
