Downtown Streetscape Reviewed April 30 4/15/2009 See details and make suggestions on a plan for improving the appearance of downtown streets Thursday, April 30 from 5-7 p.m. at Holly Springs Cultural Center. The Downtown Streetscape Master Plan will have guidelines for new development along roads including Main Street, Raleigh Street and Avent Ferry Road. It will cover such things as trees, lighting, benches, and possible locations for public art. Town planners will be in the Cultural Center lobby displaying details of the draft plan and answering questions. Downtown property owners and other citizens are invited to give their ideas during this informal gathering. The Town Council is expected to consider the plan in June.
