Holly Springs Public Works crews have been on the job since midnight Monday. They have been plowing, sanding, and salting roads, starting with main roads such as Main Street, Holly Springs Road and Sunset Lake Road. Primary roads in and out of subdivisions are the second priority for crews.
Crews were sanding and salting hills in subdivisions Wednesday morning in preparation for more street clearing in neighborhoods as thawing occurs.

Waste Industries, the Town's garbage and recycling collector, was back on routes Wednesday playing catch up. Residents should set out garbage and recycling carts on the usual schedule, although Waste Industries crews may be delayed in emptying them.
"They'll get to you as soon as possible," McNeil said. "It's going to be slow going, so please be patient."
