Repaving will occur this fall on about seven additional streets as part of a resurfacing project that began last spring.

Work by Ellington Contractors is expected to start this week and take about two months.

The repaving list additions include:

• Holly Meadow / Texanna from Texanna to Sycamore Creek
• Maple Glen from Holly Meadow to Holly Green
• Hollymont from Avent Ferry to Holly Branch
• Ballentine from Elm to Bottleneck
• Elm from Ash to Ballentine
• Hyannis from Arbor Creek to Gooseberry
• Hazelmere from Commons to Fountain Springs

During the spring, repaving occurred on about 15 streets scattered throughout Holly Springs.

Selection of those streets was based on criteria such as traffic volume, pavement condition and likelihood of further deterioration. A consulting firm developed a priority list, and the Engineering and Public Works departments refined it.
