Street Repaving Begins 4/20/2009

Repaving will occur between now and the end of June on about 15 streets scattered throughout Holly Springs.

Street selection was based on criteria such as traffic volume, pavement condition and likelihood of further deterioration. A consulting firm developed a priority list, and the Engineering and Public Works departments refined it.

The Town is sending postcards about the project to residents on the selected streets. The contractor will notify residents when work is about to begin on their street. At that time, parked cars must be moved to clear the way for paving crews.
