Parade Entries Signing Up 11/10/2009

Entry applications are due Monday, Nov. 23 for the 15th annual Happy Holly Days Christmas Parade, which draws huge crowds along Main Street on the second Saturday of December.

This year's parade is Saturday, Dec. 12. Lineup for entries starts at 9:30 a.m. The parade begins at 11 a.m.

The Holly Springs Kiwanis Club is now presenter of the parade, with the Town as sponsor. The parade will be broadcast multiple times after the event on HSTV 11, the Town's government access channel on Time Warner Cable channel 11.

Happy Holly Days parade entries are now divided into two categories– commercial and also non-commercial. For Scouts, church groups and the like, there is no entry fee. For businesses, there is a fee.

Entry forms are available online and at Holly Springs Town Hall at 128 S. Main St.

Commercial entry applications should be submitted with a check payable to the Holly Springs Kiwanis Club. Mail applications to P.O. Box 8, Holly Springs, NC, 27540 or deliver them to Town Hall at 128 S. Main St.

Non-commercial entry forms may be submitted online, mailed or dropped off at Town Hall.

All entrants should follow up by calling Barb Koblich at (919) 552-6221 to confirm that forms have been received.
