Update: Water Service was restored at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Original news release is below:

Approximately 10-15 homes on two downtown streets were without water after a water line valve broke Wednesday morning at the intersection of Main Street and Maple Avenue.

The homes affected were on West Maple Avenue and on the 700 block of Utley Street, said Amy Moore, the Town's Public Utilities director.

Crews expected to restore service to those homes by 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The cause of the valve break was not immediately known.
