Holly Springs Yellow Jacket squads hit the road Saturday, Nov. 7 for the East Wake Football League playoffs after all three Gold teams compiled winning division records in youth football regular season play.

The Mini Mite Gold team plays Wendell on Saturday in Louisburg. The Mini Mite Gold squad finished fourth in the East Wake League's North Division this season, going 4-4 overall and 4-3 in the division.

The Mighty Mite Gold team plays Fuquay-Varina on Saturday in Franklinton. The Mighty Mite Gold team was the North Division champion with a 7-1 record, finishing undefeated in the seven division games.

The Pee Wee Gold squad plays Wendell on Saturday in Louisburg. The Pee Wee Gold team finished second in the North Division during the regular season at 6-2 overall and 6-1 in the division.

The East Wake Football League (EWFL) represents 13 towns and communities in central North Carolina. Each has three teams (Mini Mites, Mighty Mites and Pee Wees ) covering ages 6-12. The EWFL is not affiliated with any Pop Warner association.
