One-stop, absentee voting begins Oct. 23 at Hunt Community Center for the Nov. 4 election.

Hunt Center voting hours are:

  • Thurs. - Sat., Oct. 23 - 25: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Sun., Oct. 26: 1 - 5 p.m.
  • Mon. - Fri., Oct. 27 - Oct. 31: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Sat., Nov. 1: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The Hunt Center is one of 15 early voting sites in the Wake County. Visit the Wake County Board of Elections to check your registration and polling place to see if it has changed since the last election. You can also print out a personalized sample ballot.

The registration deadline was Oct. 10. However, a new law allows qualified residents to register
and vote at the same time at early voting locations through a process called in person registration.

Voters who register at an early voting location must provide an acceptable form of identification. In person registration is not allowed on Election Day.

Check the Board of Elections Web site for answers to your questions about registering
to vote and casting your ballot.

Hunt Community Center is at 301 Stinson Ave., across from Womble Park. For more information, call (919) 557-9600.

The Town's annual Hollyfest celebration is Saturday, Oct. 25 at Womble Park, across from the Hunt Center. So parking will be at a premium.

In addition to the presidential race, the Nov. 4 general election includes races for Congress, governor, state Legislature, the courts, and local races such as county commissioner.
