Storm's Approach Prompts Cancellations 9/05/08 All Holly Springs Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Saturday, Sept. 6 because of the threat of severe weather from Hanna. All Parks and Recreation games, classes and programs are postponed. They will be re-scheduled. The opening ceremony for the Rex Soccer Fields has also been postponed. Bass Lake Park will reopen Sunday, weather permitting. All other facilities will reopen Monday. The Holly Springs Farmers Market is cancelled Saturday, Sept. 6 because of the weather. The market will resume Saturday, Sept. 13. The Severe Weather page has information for before, during and after storms.
