Litter Sweep Set for May 30 5/09/08 Town employees and citizen volunteers will pick up litter along roads and streams on Friday, May 30 from 1-3 p.m. Participants will be divided into teams that will focus either on roads or on streams. The Town will provide all gear, including trash bags, safety vests, poles and gloves. Citizen volunteers who would like to participate can call (919) 557-2924 or e-mail daniel.weeks@hollyspringsnc.us. Space may be limited, so please express your interest soon. Youth must be accompanied by an adult during the cleanup. Town employees conducted roadside cleanups in spring and fall last year and intend to continue the special litter sweeps twice a year.
