Art After Dark on Nov. 14 11/10/08

Support your community and enjoy an evening of local art, music and refreshments during the Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina Art Walk on Friday, Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. It's free.

Art After Dark is the second Friday of each month. It's a collaboration of Holly Springs Cultural Center, the Nature of Art Frame Shop and other art establishments in the area.

La Dolce Vita Pizzeria and Rudino's Pizza & Grinders in Holly Springs offer Art After Dark specials Friday evening for art walk participants.  La Dolce Vita also has locally-made stained glass ornaments.

The Holly Springs Cultural Center features paintings by “the art couple”, Al and Carol Boyle.  

SL Photography features illustrations and paintings by Sarah Douglas. 

The Nature of Art opens “Travels Past & Future” vivid acrylic paintings by Julie Mathews.  Meet the artists at each venue from 6 to 8 p.m.

Java Divine Gelato and Coffee Bar presents paintings by Patrick Hitesman, an art teacher from Holly Springs High School.  Beginning at 7 p.m., enjoy free samples from Java Divine’s wine selection.

The Shabby Rose vintage old and new shop hosts a free reception.  Stop by and see what owner Brenda Hardwick is working on. 

JGlez Art Gallery in Varina Station features Metal Repoussé and Chasing “Repujado en Metal” artwork on large sheets of copper or steel created by Jose Gonzalez.
