Town Programs Follow Schools' Icy Weather Policy 1/31//07 If icy weather shuts down Wake County's public schools, the Town's recreation programs and classes close also. Town parks and recreation facilities including Hunt Community Center, Holly Springs Cultural Center, and Bass Lake Park follow the Wake County Public Schools policy on inclement weather. If schools open late or close because of icy weather, Town parks and recreation facilities do as well.
