Detour July 19 on 1 Block of Main Street 7/10/07 Main Street in front of Town Hall will close from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 19 so Town employees can lay temporary pavement markings to test on-street parking options. Motorists will turn at Ballentine Street or Center Street, using Avent Ferry Road for the one-block, one-day detour. The temporary markings will be removed by 6 p.m., and Main Street in front of Town Hall will reopen. For safety, only Town employees will participate in the testing.
