Angel Tree Project Begins Nov. 19 11/06/2007 The Town of Holly Springs is enlisting citizens to help families in need save their children's Christmas. With the annual Angel Tree project, participants pick a paper angel off the Christmas tree in the lobby of Town Hall. The angels have gift wishes and clothing sizes of children whose families need assistance. Beginning Monday, Nov. 19, choose an angel from the tree in the lobby. All gifts need to be returned by Wednesday, Dec. 12 to allow time for wrapping, if needed, and for delivery before children get out of school the following Friday. This year participants have the opportunity to brighten Christmas for 100 children. They range from infants to 15 year olds, said Annmarie Forbis, administrative specialist for the Town's Human Resources Department. “Whether you are a first time sponsor or a returning sponsor, you'll understand our excitement and enthusiasm as we reach out to our Holly Springs families,” she said. “There is so much joy that comes from giving to others who are in need.” For more information, contact Forbis at (919) 557-2922 or Erika Phillips at (919) 557-3911. Town Hall is in downtown Holly Springs at 128 S. Main St.
