Spring Fling Held April 8 in Holly Springs 03/24/06

OK, as winters go this was a rather mild one. There's still plenty of reason to welcome the new season.

Bring family and friends to Womble Park on Saturday, April 8 for Spring Fling with activities for the whole family.

Browse for deals at a community yard sale at the park featuring nearly 50 vendors. The community yard sale at Womble Park will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. rain or shine. Also, check out advertised individual yard sales at nearly 20 homes throughout Holly Springs .

The Easter Bunny has scheduled a visit to Womble Park from 2 – 4 p.m. , culminating in the annual “egg scramble” for the little ones at 4 o'clock .

On the evening of April 8, bring the family to Hunt Community Center across from Womble Park for an alcohol-free dance in the gymnasium. The Craig Woolard Band will perform its award-winning combination of beach, party and soul music.

The dance lasts from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door, with children 12 and under admitted free. Come at 7 and take advantage of shag dance lessons by Just 4 Kicks.
