Second Rockin' at the Crossing Concert Held June 29 06/21/06

The Coastline Band performs Thursday, June 29 in the second of three free outdoor concerts this spring and summer at Holly Springs Crossing shopping center.

The band will play from 6 - 9 p.m. in the parking lot. Kick back with family and friends. You may want to bring a chair. Coolers are not permitted.

Bass Lake Draft House and DJF Builders sponsor Rockin' at the Crossing concerts with assistance from the Town. Food and beverages will be on sale inside the draft house and outside. Parking will be available at and near the center.

“It's a great way to bring the community together,” Town Manager Carl Dean said, adding the event draws visitors to Holly Springs.

Band of Oz takes the stage Thursday, July 27 in the season finale for Rockin' at the Crossing. This year's concerts began with the Craig Woolard Band on Thursday, May 25.

This is the second season for Rockin' at the Crossing, which featured two concerts in 2005. By adding a third event and setting the schedule well in advance, organizers hope to build on last year's success.

“As long as people are enjoying it,” Dean said, “we'd like to make it an annual thing.”
