Recreation Advisory Committee Seeks Applicants 06/02/06 Are you interested in helping shape the direction for Parks and Recreation offerings in Holly Springs? The Town is accepting applications for the Recreation Advisory Committee. The nine-member committee meets monthly and advises the Town Council and Parks & Recreation Department. The Recreation Advisory Committee meets at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. Meetings are open to the public. The Town Council appoints members of the Recreation Advisory Committee to three-year staggered terms. The terms of three members end June 30, 2006, and the panel is expected to need at least one new member. To be considered for membership on the committee, please complete the attached application. Original, signed applications are required. Submit your application to the Parks & Recreation Department. You may also call the department at (919) 557-3930 for an application or more information.
