Development Workshop Set for Jan. 25 1/18/06

The Town will hold an all-day workshop Jan. 25 to help people better understand how to go about developing property in Holly Springs.

The free seminar is geared toward developers, engineers, surveyors, land planners, builders, design professionals and business owners who are interested in steps and requirements for development approval. The workshop will be held from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

Staff from the Town's Planning & Zoning, Engineering, Economic Development and Building Code Enforcement departments will conduct the workshop.

Morning sessions are geared toward those who are new to developing property in Holly Springs and for those who want an overview of Town procedures.

Afternoon sessions will focus on critical updates to the Town's engineering specifications. New and upcoming environmental regulations and building code changes will also be covered.
