Holly Springs Water Quality Remains Safe

Throughout the year, the Town of Holly Springs runs routine tests on the drinking water supply to ensure that its high quality is maintained. And, every year, the Town Department of Water Quality releases the Consumer Confidence Report to inform residents of the results of the tests.

This year's report shows that the Town drinking water remains safe and well within the standards set by regulatory agencies. The report is available online; click here to read it. The report also will be printed in this week's edition of the Holly Springs Sun.

“The report is a snapshot of the year's water quality,” said Thomas Tillage, director of Holly Springs' Water Quality Department. “The report is important to us because we want residents to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. The report includes details about where Town water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.”

Holly Springs purchases water from the City of Raleigh and Harnett County. Harnett County treats surface water from the Cape Fear River. The City of Raleigh treats surface water from Falls Lake.
