Recreation Advisory Board Gets E-mail, Changes Meeting Location

Now, there's an additional way to contact the Holly Springs Recreation Advisory Board – via e-mail to pradvisoryboard@hollyspringsnc.us. The board serves as an advisory committee to the Town and to the Parks & Recreation Department. The board also serves as a liaison between the Town and the citizens of Holly Springs and the surrounding area.

“The e-mail address offers yet another way for the public to communicate with this board,” said Parks & Recreation Director Len Bradley. “The Recreation Advisory Board remains very open to receiving comments and suggestions from the public, and this is one additional way to encourage communication.”

Getting in touch with the committee by telephone at (919) 557-3930, by fax at (919) 552-5569 and by mail to PO Box 8, Holly Springs, NC, 27540, remain as additional ways the public can reach the board.

The Recreation Advisory Board also recently decided to change its meeting location. Instead of meeting at the Hunt Community Center, the advisory board now will meet in the Town Hall Council Chambers at 7 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. Meetings are open to the public.
