4/19/05 Holly Springs Economic Development Event Brings Together Business, Government Leaders The Second-Annual Holly Springs Economic Development Partners Event, which treated attendees to a round of golf and a reception, attracted more than 100 business and government leaders, including representatives from the NC Biotechnology Center, NC Department of Commerce, Wake County Board of Commissioners, Wake County Economic Development, Wake Technical Community College, local utilities and a host of other development partners.
Jenny Mizelle, economic development director of Holly Springs, said sponsorships allowed the town to host the annual event that brings public and private sector leaders together. By sharing information with business leaders, the town hopes to continue enticing more companies into the area to generate jobs and investment that will benefit Holly Springs, the county, the region, and the state. |

The event, held in mid-April, allowed the Holly Springs Economic Development Department an opportunity to thank business and community leaders for their support in the rising economy of one of the premier communities in the Research Triangle Region of North Carolina.
