Registration Under Way for Holiday Parade 10/12/05

Got plans for Saturday morning, Dec. 10?

Take part in the Holly Springs holiday parade beginning at 11 a.m. through downtown. We're registering all types of entries – professional and homemade floats, vintage cars, bands, walking or dancing groups, horseback riders, pets, etc.

Entry forms are at Town Hall. There is no fee.

The parade will line up on Oakhall Drive and in the Food Lion parking lot beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 10. The line steps off promptly at 11. The parade ends about noon.

The deadline to enter is Monday, Nov. 28. A week before the parade, we'll notify entrants of their lineup positions and pass along any special instructions.

If you're the spectator type, come on down to watch Dec. 10. Concessionaires will be in the Town Hall parking lot before, during and after the parade.
