Two Public Meetings on March 15
Stormwater Runoff, Tax Spending to be Discussed

Two public meetings will be held at Town Hall on March 15.

Drainage Policy Public Meeting

A public meeting to gather community input about including a drainage policy in the Town's floodplain ordinance will be held March 15 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Holleman Meeting Room at Town Hall. Including a drainage policy would allow the Town to require new developments to evaluate the effects of the development on stormwater flow in the development and in surrounding and nearby properties. The drainage policy also would allow the Town to require new developments to install protective measures to prevent damages to nearby properties caused by stormwater runoff. Pre-Budget Public Hearing

How should the town spend your tax money? The Holly Springs Town Council is holding a public hearing for Town residents to present any specific programs, projects or facilities they feel should be funded in the 2005-2006 fiscal year.
