Benefits of Mammography

Rex Mobile Mammography provides the same quality mammograms as those at Rex Breast Care Center. The equipment is certified by the Food and Drug Administration and is accredited by the American College of Radiology.

The results are confidential and sent to you and your doctor. If follow-up care is needed, you and your physician will decide together the next step to take.

One in eight women will develop breast cancer. One in 33 will die from it. However, the American Cancer Society says that regular screening mammography can reduce a woman's chance of dying from breast cancer by as much as 60 percent.
