Town Council Members Sworn in Tuesday, Dec. 6 12/02/05 Incumbents Hank Dickson and Chet VanFossen and Councilman-elect Vinnie DeBenedetto will take their oaths of office Tuesday night as the Town Council begins another term. See the agenda. Dickson and VanFossen were re-elected to four-year terms Nov. 8. DeBenedetto finished third in the race for three council seats. Mayor Dick Sears was unopposed for another term. On Tuesday night, board members will choose a mayor pro tem to preside in the mayor's absence. Dickson currently is mayor pro tem.
