Public Hearing on Proposed Budget Tuesday, June 7

How should the town spend your tax money? The Holly Springs Town Council is holding another public hearing for Town residents to present any specific programs, projects or facilities they feel should be funded in the 2005-2006 fiscal year.

The public hearing is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Citizens are invited to make oral comments during the public hearing or to make written comments by submitting statements to the Town Council; in care of Town Clerk Joni Powell; P.O. Box 8 ; Holly Springs, NC 27540.

The proposed Fiscal Year 2005-06 budget for the Town of Holly Springs has been presented to the Holly Springs Town Council and is available for public inspection in the Town Clerk's Office of Holly Springs Town Hall, 128 S. Main St., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Citizens may review the budget at Town Hall; or, they may call the Town Clerk at (919) 557-3900 to request that a hard copy be mailed to them or made available to them for pick-up at Town Hall.

The first public hearing on the budget for upcoming fiscal year was March 15.
