Angel Tree Provides Way to Help Needy Children 10/18/05

Be an angel and help a Holly Springs child have a merry Christmas.

The angel tree project collects gift wishes of needy children. You can become that child's “angel” and help however you can, providing one or more gifts on the child's list. Forty children who live and go to school in Holly Springs are being helped this year.

To participate, visit Holly Springs Town Hall at 128 S. Main St. beginning Nov. 22. Take an ornament from the angel tree in the lobby. Each ornament has the wish list for a particular child and includes details such as clothing sizes.

Please wrap each gift. Securely tape the angel onto the gift and indicate what is inside. Return gifts to the angel tree by Dec. 14.

The project is coordinated through local schools, the Southwest Wake YMCA, and the Town of Holly Springs. Volunteers from the schools, YMCA and Town will deliver the gifts.
