Town Recreation Advisory Board Openings
Volunteer to Shape the Town's Future

Would you like the opportunity to shape the Town's parks and recreation program? The Town of Holly Springs is looking for residents to serve on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board.

The board serves as an advisory committee to the Town and to the Parks and Recreation Department on parks and recreation issues. The board also serves as a liaison between the Town and the citizens of Holly Springs and the surrounding area. The committee meets at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Meetings are open to the public and are held at the W.E. Hunt Community Center on Stinson Ave.

Currently, the committee has one vacant position with a term that expires June 30, 2006. Also, applications are being accepted for seats on the committee that will become available in July, 2004, as additional members' terms expire. Each term is a three-year commitment. Members are appointed by the Town Council.
