Town Selling Limited-Edition Town Hall Ornaments
500 First-in-a-Series Ornaments Are Selling Quickly

As you prepare to deck your halls this holiday season, consider adding a Holly Springs Town Hall ornament to your collection. The limited-edition Town Hall ornament is the first in what is planned to be an annual series of ornaments commemorating Holly Springs points of interest.

This first 2 5/8 inch ornament shows Town Hall on a peaceful, snowy evening, streetlights glowing amid falling snow, on a deep blue background. On the reverse side of the ornament, white lettering reads, “Holly Springs Series, 1 st Edition 2004,” between delicate holly leaves artwork.

The ornaments are on sale now at Town Hall for $10 each. The ornaments can be purchased in the Finance Department in Town Hall at 128 S. Main St. Because only 500 ornaments were produced, they are selling quickly. For more information, call the main Town Hall number at (919) 552-6221.

Ornament sales are anticipated to cover the cost for production; proceeds will be used to fund next year’s ornament order. Depending on the level of interest generated by the ornaments, other Town merchandise, such as sweatshirts and hats, may be generated.

“We came up with the idea of an ornament series because it’s a way to have a keepsake of important firsts in Holly Springs,” said Lois Ragsdale-Houck, executive assistant for the Town Administration Department. “We’re proud of Holly Springs, and we thought this was a neat idea.”
