Kite Flying Demo, Egg Hunt, Concert to be Held April 3
Spring Fling Concert Rescheduled to April 3

The Spring Fling Concert in the Park, originally scheduled for March 20, has been rescheduled to April 3 and will become part of the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department's spring festivities that day. The concert will be held in conjunction with an egg hunt and kite flying event in Parish Womble Park on Saturday, April 3, from 1-4 p.m. The event also includes food and games.

The American Kite Association Kite Flyers will be performing demonstrations beginning at 1 p.m., when the concert also begins. And, the Easter Bunny will lead the egg hunt beginning at 4 p.m. Families with children ages 1-10 are invited to participate in the egg hunt.

In the event of inclement weather, the egg hunt only will be held on April 4 at 4 p.m.

Donations to the Communitywide Food Bank will be accepted during the event, which is sponsored by the Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department, the Southwest Wake YMCA, and other organizations.
