Recycling Igloos Now Available DownTown
Igloos to Collect a Variety of Recyclables

Residents now have an alternative to curbside recycling. Common recyclables can be deposited in four recycling igloos that are available downTown in the parking lot across Ballentine Street from Town Hall.

The igloos are available to collect common recyclable items – newspapers, magazines and junk mail; plastic containers; aluminum cans; and clear glass.

“These igloos give residents another location to recycle in addition to their curbsides,” said Luncie McNeil, Director of Public Works.

The igloos are located adjacent to the temporary telephone book recycling station, which will be available through April 16 to collect telephone books only. Telephone books cannot be recycled at residential curbsides because they have glued bindings.

For more information, contact the Town of Holly Springs Public Works Department at 552-5920.
