Hazard Mitigation Plan Goes Before Council Oct. 19

At the regularly scheduled Town Council meeting at 7 p.m. on October 19, 2004, the Town of Holly Springs Engineering staff will be recommending approval of the final 2004 Hazard Mitigation Plan. At the meeting, there will be a review of the findings of the study and the hazard mitigation actions that the Town will be undertaking in the next five years to reduce community vulnerability to natural hazards. The Town will also be recognizing the Stakeholder’s Committee that took an active role in the development of the plan.

The plan will also be available for review in the Engineering Department at Town Hall, which is located at 128 S. Main Street.
