Although the Council is interested in hearing your concerns, speakers should not expect Council action or deliberation on subject matter brought up during the Public Comment segment. Topics requiring further investigation will be referred to the appropriate town officials or staff and may be scheduled for a future agenda. 7. CONSENT AGENDA (Attachments #2a - #2h):
a. Approve minutes of the Council’s regular meetings held on June 2 and Oct, 20, 2009. (Attachment #2a)
b. Appoint Stephane Daniel to serve on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee to replace Jeff Buser. (Attachment #2b)
c. Motion to enter easement encroachment agreement with PSNC. (Attachment #2c)
d. Approve construction contract Change Order 2 with Asphalt Experts in the net amount of $4,421.25 for work in the Methodist Church downtown parking lot project. (Attachment #2d)
e. Adopt Resolution 09-39 certifying the Official Zoning Map of the Town. (Attachment #2e)
f. Approve construction contract Change Order 4 in the amount of $13,685.11 in the Green Oaks Parkway 4-lane project to add decorative and protective fencing. (Attachment #2f)
g. Amend the Town’s fee schedule to correct transportation fees for non-residential development. (Attachment #2g)
h. Retain services of Traffic Survey Services in the amount of $800 for traffic analysis on Main Street. (Attachment #2h)
8. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Consider amending the professional services contract with Davis Martin Powell for additional consultant assistance and adopting related amendment to the FY 2009-2010 budget in the amount of $30,000. (Attachment #3)
b. Consider authorizing the town manager to enter a six-month lease for property for use as a staging area for yard waste operations. (Attachment #4)
c. Consider authorizing the town manager to enter a lease with Clearwire Communications for antennae location on a town water tower. (Attachment #5)
d. Consider amending an existing David Martin Powell engineering services contract in the amount of $5,550 for additional services needed to proceed with solar tank mixer project. (Attachment #6)
e. Consider retaining Bass Nixon and Kennedy for $12,100, plus contingency, for surveying and plat preparation services in the Main Street South sidewalk project and adopting related amendment to the FY 2009-2010 budget in the amount of $26,300. (Attachment #7)
