MINUTES

The Holly Springs Town Board of Commissioners met in continued session on Tuesday, March 6, 2001 in the Town Board meeting chambers, located in Town Hall, 128 S. Main St. Mayor Parrish L. Womble presided, recalling the meeting to order at 5:25 p.m. A quorum was established as the mayor and all five board members were present as the meeting opened. The earlier meeting time is a continuation of the Town Board's Thursday, Feb. 22 Continued Meeting; however, March 6, 2001 also is a regular meeting night, and separate minutes are recorded.

Board Members Present: Commissioners Tim Sack, John Schifano, Chet Van Fossen, Peter Atwell and Hank Dickson and Mayor Womble.

Board Members Absent: None.

Staff Members Present: Ricky Blackmon, interim town manager; and Joni Powell, town clerk (recording the minutes).

The Board discussed the qualifications of one applicant for the position of Holly Springs Town Manager. No action was taken other than a motion to return to Open Session.

Action Taken: The Board approved a motion to reenter Open Session.

Adjournment - There being no further business for the Continued Meeting, the 5:15 p.m. session of March 6, 2001 was adjourned.
