MINUTES

The Holly Springs Town Board of Commissioners was scheduled to meet in regular session on Tuesday, July 4, 2000, a holiday. The Board had agreed to eliminate the July 4 meeting from the schedule during its June 20, 2000 meeting. The Town Attorney advised that the most appropriate way of canceling a regularly scheduled meeting was to amend the schedule during a previous regular meeting, which was done on June 20, 2000. Then, he added, it would be appropriate if a record were kept of the July 4, 2000 meeting, simply stating that the meeting did not convene for lack of a quorum.

A quorum of the Holly Springs Town Board of Commissioners was not established at the regular meeting time of 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2000 in light of the Town holiday. The meeting, therefore, was not held.
