MINUTES

The Holly Springs Town Board of Commissioners met in special session at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 1999 in the Town Board meeting chambers, located in Town Hall, 128 S. Main St. Mayor Gerald W. Holleman presided, calling the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m. A quorum was established as the mayor and four board members were present as the meeting opened. Upon the meeting's opening, the Board entered Closed Session.

Board Members Present: Commissioners Hank Dickson, Bill Banks, Parrish Womble, Tim Sack and Mayor Holleman.

Board Members Absent: Commissioner Ken Martin. (Commissioner Martin arrived shortly after 7 p.m.)

Staff Members Present: None.

The purpose of the special meeting was to discuss a personnel matter.

General Account of July 6 Special Meeting Closed Session:

In Closed Session, the Board interviewed a candidate the members are considering for the position of interim town manager.

Action Taken in Closed Session: None.

Action Taken Upon Return to Open Session: No action was taken other than a motion to adjourn.

3. Adjournment - There being no further business for the special meeting, the Holly Springs Board of Commissioners adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
