5. PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD:   

Notes on the Comment Period -- Each speaker is asked to limit comments to 3 minutes, and the total comment period will be 15 minutes or less.  Citizens should sign up with the Town Clerk to speak prior to the start of the meeting.  Although the Council is interested in hearing your concerns, speakers should not expect Council action or deliberation on subject matter brought up during the Public Comment segment.  Topics requiring further investigation will be referred to the appropriate town officials or staff and may be scheduled for a future agenda.  Thank you for your consideration of the Town Council, staff and other speakers.

6. SPECIAL PRESENTATION:

a.  Presentation of proclamation designating Saturday, May 14 as Kids Appreciation Day.  (Attachment #1)

7. REQUESTS AND COMMUNICATIONS:

a.  Communication regarding the 2011 Farmers Market.  (Attachment #2)

b.  Consider request for the waiver of all fees in the conversion of a house into the new headquarters for the Holly Springs Food Cupboard.  (Attachment #3)

c.  Presentation of the manager’s proposed FY 2011-12 budget.  (Attachment #4)

8. CONSENT AGENDA (Attachments 5a - 5c):

a.  Adopt Resolution 11-12 designating the Town’s agents in FEMA applications for storm relief. (Attachment #5a)

b.  Receive Adopt Resolution 11-13 declaring certain personal property to be surplus to the needs of the Town and authorizing the disposal of said property.  (Attachment #5b)

c.   Adopt amendment to the FY 2010-11 budget in the amount of $203,200 to pay for the police radio equipment approved at the April 5 Town Council meeting.  (Attachment #5c)

9.  NEW BUSINESS:

a.  Consider awarding a contract to low bidder Civic Plus in the amount of $21,988 for redevelopment of the Town of Holly Springs Web site.  (Attachment #6)

b.  Consideration of architectural firms for reconstruction of Fire Station No. 2.
