My bill seems high, what can I do?
First, make sure you don't have any faucets that are dripping, inside or outside your home. Second, we recommend you do a dye test on your toilets. Put some food coloring or colored drink mix such as koolaid in the tank of the toilet, don't flush it. Go back in about 30 minutes or so, if any of the colored water from the tank is in the bowl of the toilet, your toilet is leaking. This is the major water waster because a lot of times people don't realize the toilet is leaking because the water isn't going on the floor. If you still have questions regarding your bill, please call
Utility Customer Service
at (919) 557-3920 or (919) 557-3922.
2.
When is my bill due?
Bills are due by the 25th of each month to avoid a $5 penalty. If you cannot pay your current month bill by the 25th of the month, you will incur the late charge and you then have until the 15th of the following month to pay at least the previous month's bill to avoid disconnection of service and a $25 penalty.
3.
What are my payment options?
You can see all payment options at the
Payment Options

4.
Can I change the due date of my bill?
Unfortunately no, we currently only have one billing cycle available with one due date.
5.
How to I set up utility service?
In order to start your water/sewer/trash/recycling/yard waste services with the Town of Holly Springs, you will need to fill out a utility application and submit it to customer service to be processed. If a deposit is required we will call you to collect this by mastercard/visa/discover once the application is processed. If you are buying the home and can provide us with a credit letter or payment history from your water company for the most recent 12 months showing that you did not have any late fees, we will waive the deposit. You can click the following link for more information.
