The Holly Springs Fire Services Department provides fire suppression, fire prevention, arson investigation, fire inspections, fire education and emergency medical transport.

New Fire Station 1 - Opened Spring 2006

Fire Station 1 is at 700 Flint Point Lane, off Holly Springs Road near Bass Lake Road.

Station 2 is at 1140 Avent Ferry Road.

Services

• Fire suppression within the municipal limits and areas surrounding the Town
• Free blood pressure checks at both fire stations
• Emergency medical services that include fire engine first-responder services (first responders provide initial patient care prior to ambulance arrival) and paramedic level transport services to area hospitals
• Fire education programs on various aspects of public fire safety that are presented to any group free of charge
• Fire hydrant maintenance for all hydrants located in the fire district
• Free tours of the fire stations will be provided with prior arrangements or appointment.

Staffing

Authorized positions include 24 firefighters and six part-time firefighters.

Equipment

The department has three fire engines, a ladder truck, rescue truck, brush firefighting truck, two ambulances and two small boats for water rescue.
