HollyFest Egg Drop Contest

Build an egg container that will protect a raw egg as it falls from the Holly Springs Fire Department's "cherry picker" to the ground below. We'll start at 5 feet and increase the height until only one egg remains uncracked!  

Age Groups: Elementary, Middle School, High School, Adults

Advance Registration (Fee $10)

Stop by the Wonder Full Science table at the Kids Cultural Corner during HollyFest to register.

Make your own container at home or get egg drop tips, materials and expertise one week before the contest at Holly Springs Cultural Center.

Join Wonder Full Science at the Cultural Center on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. An $8 materials fee is due at the door. Pre-registration is required. Parents should remain with their children during the event.
