  1. April Art Exhibit featuring Lynne Wogan

    April 3 - April 30 @ Holly Springs Cultural Center

    Lynne Wogan, a former newspaper reporter, is a Holly Springs artist who paints with acrylics and is especially known for her colorful art work. Her painting of Bass Lake was used on the cover of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce guide. She has had shows at Electric Beanz Coffee Shop in Garner, Chatham Marketplace Co-op in Pittsboro, and several galleries in Cary including SIP Organic Wine Gallery.“For me art is a way to go places with my imagination," Lynne said. "I love the feedback from people who have purchased a painting and say it makes them feel happy."

    April 22, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Town Council Chambers

    The Planning Board is an eight-member citizen advisory board appointed by the Town Council. Seven live inside the Town limits. One resides within the Town's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). The Planning Board reviews and makes recommendations to the Town Council on all proposals for rezoning, various development-related requests, and amendments and additions to the Town’s zoning regulations and comprehensive plan. The Planning Board has no judicial or final decision authority but provides guidance to the Town Council on those requests.
