Bass Lake Park

    Aquatic ecosystems are a fun place to discover animals. Come out and learn what animals live in Bass Lake, from the big birds to the small bugs. Hands on investigation to catch and see animals up close and in person. Geared for ages 3+. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required.

    May 28, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Bass Lake Park

    Ages: 3-5 Kids storytime and nature exploration program. Geared for ages 3-5, but all welcome. Enjoy storytime, nature explorations, and nature crafts. We will go for short exploratory walks if weather permits. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required.

  3. NC Zoo Bus Trip

    May 29, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Bass Lake Park

    Come join us on an adventure to different locations in NC. Bass Lake Park will drive their van and take you to interesting sites. The van holds 12 people total and will depart at time specified on date of trip. Admission to site is included in cost and we will get you there and back. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required. Geared for ages 8+

  4. Geocaching 101

    May 31, 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM @ Jefferson L. Sugg Farm at Bass Lake

    Get started on the outdoor fun with geocaching! It's liek a modern day treasure hunt, full of excitement. We will meet at Sugg Farm and learn the basics about geocaching and then find some fun caches to explore and test your skill. Pre-registration is required. Geared for ages 8+

    Join us for a performance by the 82nd Airborne Chorus. Tickets are Free! This show does have reserved seating, so you will need to pick up tickets at the Box Office. Tickets are available to the --public on May 6th, 2015. Call (919)567-4000 for more details.

  2. The Route 55 Jazz Orchestra presents The Best is Yet to Come **New Date**

    May 30, 7:30 PM @ Holly Springs Cultural Center

    Route 55 Jazz Orchestra was founded in the fall of 2006 and its membership consists of community musicians who are serious about their commitment to making authentic Big Band Jazz in the tradition of Basie, Kenton, Miller, and more! Their mission is not only to perform, but to sponsor, promote, and educate our community with regard to jazz as America's great original music. Seating is general admission (no reserved seats). NOTE: For handicap and special needs seating, contact the Box Office by calling (919) 567-4000.

    Shred-A-Thon Truck starts shredding at 8:30 and goes 'til the truck fills up or 12:30, which ever comes 1st.

Planning & Zoning

  1. Planning Board

    May 26, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Council Chambers

    The Planning Board is an eight-member citizen advisory board appointed by the Town Council. Seven live inside the Town limits. One resides within the Town's extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ). The Planning Board reviews and makes recommendations to the Town Council on all proposals for rezoning, various development-related requests, and amendments and additions to the Town’s zoning regulations and comprehensive plan. The Planning Board has no judicial or final decision authority but provides guidance to the Town Council on those requests.
