The Technical Review Committee (TRC) is comprised of the town manager; assistant town manager; directors of Planning and Zoning, Engineering, and Parks and Recreation; and representatives from the Town Council and Planning Board. The TRC is responsible for the review and approval or denial of non-gateway, non-residential projects.

The TRC also assists the director of Planning and Zoning in the interpretation, enforcement, or application of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) and advises the director on suggested or proposed amendments to the UDO. The TRC meets at 3 pm the first Tuesday of each month in the Town Hall Executive Conference Room, 128 S Main Street.

Town staff support to the Technical Review Committee is provided by the Department of Planning and Zoning.
